I am a self-motivated Communication & Digital Media Practitioner. I am a Vibrant and dynamic individual that specialises in Brand Management, Internal & External Communications, Social Media Marketing, Digital Media, Content, Curation, and Photography.
I am currently seeking opportunities to transform Communication & Digital Media practices into innovative and cost-effective solutions leading to efficient, effective, productive, and successful campaigns with my skills and expertise.

ABOUT ME

I studied Applied Communication Management at the University of Fort Hare. I completed this qualification in 2016; having commenced my studies in 2013.
I went on to do my honours in Film and Television at the University of Johannesburg, completing the qualification in 2017. I studied this qualification as I saw the need for future communications practitioners to be more rounded media practitioners.
Upon the completion of my studies, I was awarded the winner for "displaying excellent skills in multi-camera directing for honours students " for my work on the Global Campus Network. The Global Campus Network featured other universities from around the world, including universities in Canada, Singapore, and Russia.
I was also awarded for showing potential for development for film, with my fellow students, Aphiwe Mweza and Lwandile Mngonyama, for our outstanding work on our group documentary.
I went on to work for Multichoice as a Digital Customer Consultant.
However, an opportunity to work for Blissful Farm as a Communications and Marketing Assistant presented itself and I took this opportunity with both hands. I saw this as an opportunity to further develop my skills in the digital media space and this also allowed me to be provided with added responsibilities, which is something that I relished as this would further assist in my personal and career development.
My latest role was as a Public Relations and Brand Officer for Kumkani FM. In this role, I brought growth and development to the organisation, helping it to grow its digital presence and enhance the brand's reputation.
I have been lucky to work with a variety of organisations, and I have learned something new from every single one of them. In addition to my work, I make an effort to stay relevant in my field by regularly reading up on advances in his field of work, and that’s how I can make sure the organisations that I serve get the best results in a constantly evolving digital world.

KUMKANI FM

Public Relations & Brand Officer

Kumkani FM is a community radio station based in Scenery Park, East London. I worked as a Public Relations & Brand Officer.
Some of my highlights while working for Kumkani FM, include growing the Facebook page to over 20 000 page likes and being able to reach over 100 000 for a live broadcast, for the time ever.
I also managed to grow the Twitter and Instagram platforms. I also initiated strategic relationships with key stakeholders.

BLISSFUL FARM

Communications & Marketing Assistant

Blissful Farm is a holistic wellness center based in Beacon Bay, East London. I worked as a Communication & Marketing Assistant for the organisation; I also contributed by assisting with administrative duties.
While I was working at Blissful Farm I managed to ensure that we sold out events that we had organised, through the use of digital platforms. This contributed to the growth and the success of the organisation.
